A Conversation with Balance (Iyenger Yoga: All Levels): Sheep Stage

Geoffrey will lead you through a unique 90-minute practice, you will re-examine several things that you thought you were supposed to do in our poses in order to determine whether or not those thoughts hold any real validity in the organic arena of the body. By going back and forth between the so-called right thing to do and the so-called wrong thing to do, we will deepen the conversation around what it means to be physically balanced, easy, and light. You can expect a healthy sampling of poses from all of the major pose categories, and we will conclude our practice with viloma pranayama (or “against-the-grain breathing”) to help unveil our authentic breath and our unalloyed mind.
